Meet the Staff

Hello I'm Jennifer and the owner of Frosty's! I live in Hampden with my husband, Herb, our two kids, Aundreya and Christopher, and our two dogs and three cats. Herb and I are both retired from Active Duty Air Force; I was also an Air Force brat so I moved around a lot, but I call Maine home now since moving here in 2014. Prior to buying Frosty's in 2019 I worked as a medical support assistant for the VA; I never would have imagined being a business owner, much less the owner of a daycare, but I am loving this adventure. Outside of work I'm usually busy taking our kids to their sport practices and games, reading, listening to music, and going to camp on the summer weekends.

Hello! My name is Lynda Burger and I am the Director and assistant teacher in our Pre-K room. I was born in England and attended Kings Larry college. I studied science and did a beautician course; I was a flight attendant for 15 years and was very lucky to travel the world. I've lived in Hampden for 22 years with my husband Cale and five children, three of which are still in school. I've been a substitute teacher for the past 15 years and loved working with the kids.

When I am not at work you can find me with family, friends and taking care of my animals. I have a horse, two pigs, a goat, rabbits, a dog, and a cat.

Hello, I'm Karolina! I'm the Assistant Director and lead Infant room teacher. I'm originally from the Czech Republic in Europe and just moved to Maine in 2022 with my husband and son after living in Georgia for 10 years. I speak four languages that I have learned over the years and lived in four different countries. Prior to Frosty's I was an assistant director and teacher at Kiddie Academy, a large child care center in Georgia and previous to that I taught for many years in Europe and worked for Czech/Delta airline. Outside of work my husband and I love to go watch our son's baseball games and travel. I also enjoy gardening and DIY projects.

Hello, I'm Marjorie! I'm the assistant teacher in the infant room and have been with Frosty's since August 2022. I've lived all over Maine from Surry to Presque Isle, but I currently call Hampden home with my boyfriend of 9 years along with my Teacup Yorkie and two kittens. I have an 18-year-old daughter who is now off doing her own thing and learning about adult life. Before joining the Frosty's Family I was a CRMA doing in-home care for seniors with Alzheimer's and autism for about 15 years. I enjoy quiet nights at home with the animals and a crochet hook. When the Maine weather agrees I love walking along the ocean coast or through the North Woods looking for moose.

Hello, I'm Rachel! I'm the lead Toddler 1 teacher and have been with Frosty's since June 2022. I'm from Guilford but now live in Carmel with my boyfriend Shane, our dog, Layla, and two cats, Fawkes and Arie. Prior to Frosty's I lived in Arizona for a year and worked with the one-year-olds and have been working in childcare for over three years. Outside of work I love to read (I'm obsessed with Harry Potter), doing anything with music, and going on outdoor adventures with my boyfriend and family.

Hello, I'm Stefanie! I am an assistant teacher in Toddler 1. I moved to Maine four years ago from Colorado. I am married and have three boys. I have worked in childcare taking care of newborns to preschool as well as special needs children for over 15 years to include owning my own home daycare while I lived in Colorado. Outside of work I own my own toy business that will be going online by fall. I love spending time with my family, traveling and going to the beach.

Hello, I'm Maddie! I'm an assistant teacher in Toddler 1 and can occasionally be found in Toddler 3. I graduated from Hampden Academy in 2020 and then studied Early Childhood Special Education at University of Maine Farmington; I've always been a strong advocate for people of all abilities. I live in Hampden with my family and cat Skylar. Outside of work I enjoy watching sitcoms, reading books, and spending time with my friends and cat.

Hello, I'm Greysen! I'm the lead Toddler 2 teacher and have been with Frosty's since July 2022. I grew up in Mexico, Maine but reside in Hampden with my two cats Freddie Mercury and Quincy Adams. I've been teaching toddlers at different daycares for three years now; prior to joining the Frosty's Family I worked at Little Angels. Outside of work I enjoy reading, hiking, photography, and taking naps.

Hello, I'm Shane! I'm the assistant Toddler 2 teacher and have been with Frosty's since October 2022. I'm from Greenwood but now live in Carmel with my girlfriend Rachel, our dog, Layla, and two cats, Fawkes and Arie. Outside of work I like being outdoors and exploring the wilderness. I also enjoy fishing, hunting, and watching sports.

Hello, I'm Heather! I'm the lead Toddler 3 teacher and have been with Frosty's since March 2022. I'm originally from New Jersey but live in Newport with my 16 year old son and three cats Miles, Sox, and Bowser. I've been working with kids since 2017 and absolutely love it. Outside of work I like to travel and spend time with my son.

Hello, I'm Anastasia! I'm the assistant teacher for the preschool room and have been with Frosty's since January 2023. I live in Dexter with my two pocket bully bulldogs, Mercedes and Midnight. Outside of work I like to go camping and ride my four-wheeler. I love seeing and visiting my family from Massachusetts where I was born and raised. I love coloring, painting, drawing, and going to the ocean.

Hello, I'm Megan! I'm an assistant teacher and can usually be found in Toddler 1 or the infant room. I'm originally from Presque Isle, but currently reside in Eddington with my fiancé, BJ, our cat, Seamus, and dog, Sadie. I have a 13-year-old daughter, Tatum. Before Frosty's I managed a small restaurant in Bangor. Outside of work I love the ocean, camping, being outside in nature, spending time with my family, building things with BJ, and anything artsy.

Hello, I'm Jillian! I'm originally from Dexter but live in Hampden now with my GoldenDoodle and two cats. I've been with Frosty's since October 2022 working part-time while attending Eastern Maine Community College working towards my associate's in Early Childhood Education. This is my first job working in a childcare center and I've learned so much and have come to care for these kids more and more every day. Outside of work I enjoy being in nature and spending time with family and friends.

Hello, I'm Lindsay! I work part-time while going to school for Elementary Education and can usually be found in the infant room. I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings since I was 11 years old and can't imagine doing anything else. I live in Hampden with my husband, our two cats Carl and Benji, and our dog Turbo. In my spare time I'm working on homework, reading, or spending time with family. I also love to travel and have been to nine different countries hoping to expand that list.
